ALBANY, N.Y. – In its season finale, host Russell Sage College fell to Nazareth by a score of 19-6.
Sophomore defender Alexis Crossman (Corinth, NY/Corinth) topped the Gators with four goals on six shots, six draw controls, two caused turnovers, and two groundballs. She finished the spring with a program single-season record 50 caused turnovers. The sophomore also led the team in points (37), goals (31), draw controls (63), and groundballs (51).
Sophomore defender Madisyn Bullock (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) and senior midfielder Maddison Walter (South Glens Falls, NY/South Glens Falls) also scored goals for RSC (3-11/2-7 E8).
The visiting Golden Flyers (10-7/6-3 E8), which received six points apiece from senior attacker Sophia Scialdone and junior attacker Grace Gardner. closed the first half on a 10-2 run to hold a 14-4 lead at the break.
