ALBANY, N.Y. – After a stretch of ten days without a game surrounding Spring Break, Russell Sage College was back in action on Saturday afternoon against visiting Norwich.
The Cadets used an 11-1 run spanning the opening three quarters to secure a 13-6 non-conference victory.
Sophomore defender Alexis Crossman (Corinth, NY/Corinth) paced the Gators with three goals on four shots, five groundballs, four draw controls, and three caused turnovers.
Senior midfielder Tristyn Valenze (East Greenbush, NY/Columbia) contributed two goals and three draw controls, while freshman goalkeeper Olivia Brand (Little Falls, NY/Little Falls) made seven saves.
Sophomore midfielder Caitlyn Fielder topped Norwich, which led 11-2 with 3:39 left in the third period, with three goals and two assists.
