KANSAS CITY – The Sage Men's Soccer team landed three players to the 2015 National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division III East Regional Teams. Defenseman Kyle LeClerc (Beacon, NY/Beacon) and goalie TJ Zehner (Beacon, NY/Beacon) were named to the first team while defenseman Luis Teran (Farmingville, NY/Newfield) was tapped for the second team.

Zehner, a two-year captain for the Sage squad, led the Skyline Conference in goals-against-average (0.77), save percentage (.856) and shutouts (11). With the NCAA Division III tournament concluding this weekend, Zehner ranks 26th in save percentage amongst all Division III keepers. The senior has set multiple single-season and career records over his four years as a Gator.

Over the course of his career, Zehner has been named to the Skyline All-Conference three times, the ECAC Division III Metro Second Team and Sage's Most Valuable Player. The keeper has been named Skyline Player of the Week three times, including twice this season. He was also named Rookie of the Week twice during his freshman campaign.

LeClerc and Teran tethered down the nationally ranked defense all season as the only field players to start in every game. Together with Zehner, the two junior captains led the Sage defense to a 0.65 shutout percentage, currently ranked 5th amongst Division III back lines. The pair combined for three goals and four assists on the season.

Last year, LeClerc was named to the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men's East Region Third Team. A CoSIDA Academic All-American nominee, the junior has had an impressive three years at Sage being named the Skyline Defensive Player of the Year and All-Conference twice. Last year he was tapped to the ECAC Division III Metro First Team for his efforts at defense. The defenseman was named Skyline Player of the Week for the first time in Week 8 of the 2015 season. He has totaled eight goals, five assists and 21 points over his career.

After missing last season due to injury, Teran was named Skyline All-Conference for the first time in his career. In his rookie year at Sage, the junior was tapped as the 2013 Skyline Rookie of the Year. Teran has recorded five goals, two assists and 12 points over his career.

Sage's three captains led the 2015 Gators to its first Skyline Championship and NCAA tournament berth.
