Weekly Men's Soccer Skyline Honors
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Zehner named Skyline Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week; Seybolt Grabs Honor Roll
New York – Gator keeper TJ Zehner has been named Skyline Conference Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week for the second time in his career.
Zehner, the current all-time save leader in Sage history, recorded 13 saves with a .812 save percentage over a three-game span.
The senior recorded the only shutout in the conference in a 6-0 win over Cazenovia. It was his 14th shutout in his record setting career. Zehner went on to combine for 13 saves in the Union College Classic against Union and RPI. The two-year captain ensured the Gators a tie against Union on a save with six seconds remaining in the final overtime.
River Seybolt was tapped to the Skyline Honor Roll after scoring two goals and recording one assist against Cazenovia in the freshman's collegiate debut.
The men's soccer team is set to play their home-opener against SUNY-Canton at 2:00 p.m. at ACP on Fri. Sept. 11.
