Zehner Tapped as Co-Skyline Player of the Week

NEW YORK – TJ Zehner (Beacon, NY/Beacon) was named the week five Co-Skyline Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Zehner recorded a shutout in a 4-0 win over reigning conference champion Purchase. The senior recorded his fourth straight shutout and his seventh of the season.

The Gator goalie leads the Skyline in goals-against-average (0.79), save percentage (.830) and shutouts (six).

Zehner currently ranks 23rd in all of NCAA Division III in save-percentage.

The captain's co-award winner was Mount Saint Vincent's Kevin Jardines. Jardiness recorded a hat trick in the Dolphins' win over St. Joseph's (Brooklyn).

The Gators are set to play Yeshiva Sun., Oct. 11 at ACP for "Take a Kid to the Game Day." Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
