ALBANY, N.Y. –Russell Sage College has announced the addition of Matt Zumbolo (Gloversville, N.Y.) to the Athletic Communications staff. Zumbolo will help to manage the communications efforts for the RSC intercollegiate athletic program that includes 21 varsity teams and more than 300 student-athletes.
"I am extremely excited to be joining the athletic department at Russell Sage College," said Zumbolo. "Sports have been a huge part of my life forever and being able to work in the industry is a dream come true. I cannot wait to get started! Go Gators!"
"I'm thrilled that Matt is joining the RSC Athletic Communications team," added Kyle Young, Director of Athletic Communications. "Matt's background, passion for athletics, and attention to detail will undoubtedly serve him well as he comes aboard in advance of what will be a busy spring."
Zumbolo, who completed internships with Barstool Sports and the Amsterdam Mohawks, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse in May 2023.

"He brings plenty of enthusiasm and excitement to the position and we are confident that he will certainly add to the experience of our student-athletes and coaches with his skills and experience."
