Albany, NY--The Sage Colleges' men's soccer team earned the No. 1 seed in the league's pre-season coaches' poll, captured the regular-season crown and is now playing on Saturday, November 7 for the chance to win the program's first Skyline Conference Championship. The Gators will host the Rams of Farmingdale State on Saturday at noon at nearby Albany College of Pharmacy's Athletic Complex. Admission is free!

Sage advanced to the title game with a 4-1 win over the College of Mt. St. Vincent, while Farmingdale State defeated No. 2 seeded St. Joseph's College (LI) in penalty kicks after the game ended officially as a 2-2 tie.

Sage stands ay 12-3-3 overall, while FSC is 10-8-2. In the regular-season meeting at FSC, the Rams posted a 3-0 victory, giving Sage their lone loss in Skyline play this fall.

Saturday's champion will garner the Skyline Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division III Championship.
