Granby, MA – The Sage Colleges' men's golf team travelled to the Elms College Trailblazer Invitational at Westover Country Club, a par 72, 7,025 yard course.

The host Trailbazers took home the title with a round of 310 for the day. Sage picked up fifth place in a field of 16 teams after combining for a round of 328 for the day.

Leading the way for the Gators, senior Zach Sullivan (Ballston Spa, NY/Burnt Hill-Ballston Lake) posted a 77 to finish in tie for second place.  Sage's senior captain Richie Christman (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) carded an 80 to take 16^th place in a three-way tie.

Sophomore D.J. Ioele (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) carded an 85 to finish in a tie for 34^th place, while rookie Kevin Johnston (Gloversville, NY/Gloversville) finished with a round of 86 to finish in a tie for 41^st place.

Senior Jeff Stopera (Scotia, NY/Scotia Glenville) posted a round of 88 to take home 48^th place.

The Gators return to action on October 4 travelling to Mt. St. Mary College to compete in the Knight Invitational.
