Farmingdale, NY – The Sage Colleges' men's golf team travelled to the Farmingdale State College Invitational held at the Bethpage Red Course. The host Rams won the team title with a 295, while also producing the medalist in Adam Larkin, who shot two under par with a 68 for the day. Sage finished in third in the team race with a 317 in the six-team event.

Leading the way for the Gators, senior Zach Sullivan (Ballston Spa, NY/Burnt Hill-Ballston Lake) posted a 74 for the day to finish in a tie for third place. Rookie Kevin Johnston (Gloversville, NY/Gloversville) finished with a round of 77 and tied for seventh place.

Sophomore D.J. Ioele (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) carded an 83, while senior Jeff Stopera (Scotia, NY/Scotia Glenville) also fired a round of 83 and ties for 16th.   Sage's senior captain Richie Christman (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) carded an 84 to take 20^th place.
