Purchase, NY – The Sage College's women's basketball squad travelled to Purchase College for a Skyline Conference contest on Wednesday night with the Panthers. Purchase tallied a 64-55 win to improve to 12-9 overall and 7-4 in the league. The loss puts Sage at 13-8 and 8-3 in the league.
For the Gators, which trailed28-21 at the half, junior center Amie Jefferson (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) added a team-high 13 rebounds with six points, while rookie Frankie Pearson (Hoosick Falls, NY/Hoosick Falls Central) connected for 12.
Sage returns to action on February 15 travelling to Farmingdale State College for a 1 p.m. Skyline Conference game.
