Gators Compete in Boston

BOSTON–  Russell Sage College competed on Saturday at the Hampshire Black Sheep Invitational, held at the TRACK at New Balance.

The Gators turned in many noteworthy performances this afternoon, including a program record.

Junior Mackenzie Feeney (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) highlighted the day by winning the 800m with a school record time of 2:26.36.

Sophomore Elizabeth Ingellis (Kingston, NY/Kingston) took fourth in the 3,000m run with a time of 11:10.62.

On the men's side, senior John Coddington (Amsterdam, NY/Broadalbin-Perth) recorded a win and a place in the field events. He was victorious in the shot put with a mark of 13.89m and finished second in the weight throw with a 16.07m heave.

Sophomore David Adadjo (Nassau, NY/Columbia) dashed 200m in 23.56 and 400m in 53.19, good for tenth in both events, while freshman Noah Rivera (Monroe, NY/Monroe Woodbury) was sixth in the triple jump with a distance of 12.66m.

The Gators head to Nazareth next Saturday for their final preparations for the Empire 8 Conference Championships.
