Gators Fall in Monday Battle with UMass Dartmouth

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Russell Sage College baseball fell 14-10 in Monday's matchup against UMass Dartmouth on the third day of their Florida spring break trip.

The Gators (3-3) had five register multi-hit games as they scored double digit runs for the third time in their first six games.

Senior infielder Zachary Figueras (Apopka, FL/Windermere) continued his strong offensive showing in the sunshine state, tallying three hits, one of those a solo homerun, with two RBIs and three runs scored.

Outfielder James Lubanski (Port Washington, NY/Paul D. Schreiber), a grad student, went 2-4 with a homerun of his own and drove in two runs.

Junior infielder Anthony Rizzo (Latham, NY/Shaker/HVCC), junior catcher Colin Casey (Marlboro, NY/Marlboro/Saint Rose), junior outfielder Owen Murphy (Fairport, NY/Fairport) each registered two hits in the contest.

RSC returns to the diamond tomorrow for a morning matchup with USJ.
