Sage golfers host Fall Golf Invitational

Voorheesville, NY – The Sage Colleges' men's golf team hosted the Sage Fall Invitational on Wednesday afternoon at Albany Country Club. The Fighting Tigers of SUNY-Cobleskill won the team title after posting a 333 for the round, while the medalist needed a three-hole playoff to determine the winner. Johnston State's Dave Albright was the medalist after besting SUNY-Cobleskill's Nate Stanton in a three-hole playoff after the pair finished their rounds of 18 holes with an 80 for the day.

For the Gators, rookie Blake Pritchard (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy) took home 14th with a 95 for the day, while sophomore Tyler Schnaible (Ballston Lake, NY/Shenendehowa) posted a 96 for the first day and finished in 17th place. Senior Ryan Guyton (Lockport, NY/Lockport) carded a 107 and took 18th place. Rounding out Gator foursome was sophomore Jared Almy (Howes Cave, NY/Cobleskill-Richmondville) as he posted a 112 and took 19th.
