Utica, NY – The Sage Colleges' men's cross country team opened action on Saturday competing at the SUNY-IT Wildcat Invitational.
Sage's men's team was incomplete but had a strong individual showing from junior Juan Reyes-Alvarez (Latham, NY/Shaker) as he finished 13th overall on the 6 K course with his time of 20:48. Junior Nicholas Haas (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy) finished in 94th place in 26:21, while senior James Carroll (Troy, NY/Home Schooled) picked up 101th place in 26:59.
Sage's team will be back in action on September 6 travelling to the Purchase College Invitational with an 11:30 a.m. start for the women's race and the men's competition follows at noon.
