NEW YORK – Ryan Guyton (Lockport, NY/Lockport) was tapped as the week two Men's Volleyball Skyline Player of the Week.

Guyton led the Gators to a 3-1 week with wins over Newbury, Lehman and Mt. Ida with a .304 hitting percentage. The sophomore totaled 15 service aces, including seven against both Lehman and Mt. Ida. Guyton scored 55.0 points, including a season-high 17.5 points against Mt. Ida. The captain added 38 kills and four block assists.

Currently in the Skyline, Guyton ranks 1^st in total service aces (24), 3^rd in service aces/set (0.89), 5^th in total points (90.5) 6^th in points/set (3.35) and total kills (60), 7^th in hitting percentage (.264) and 10^th in kills/set (2.22).

After two weeks of play, the Gators currently sit at 3-5 on the season. Sage travels to Rivier University this weekend to compete in the Live Free or Die Invitational. The Gators take on MIT on Sat., Feb. 6 at 6:30 pm with games against Rivier and Daniel Webster to follow on Sun. Feb. 7 at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. respectively.
