Troy, NY – The Sage Colleges' men's tennis team hosted the Falcons of Albertus Magnus College at Prospect Park on Wednesday afternoon in the team's home opener. The Falcons triumphed 8-1 to improve to 4-3 on the year. Sage drops to 0-5 overall.

Sage's lone winner on the day was junior Sean Alvarado (Shokan, NY/Onteora) as he posted a 7-5, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles besting Elvis Santana for his first win of the year.

Sage's home Skyline Conference opener will take this week when Purchase College visits Troy for a 4:30 p.m. Skyline Conference match with the Panthers at Prospect Park on April 3.
