CICERO, N.Y. – After the two-round Empire 8 Conference Men's Golf Fall Championships, held at the par 72, 6,506 yard Lake Shore Yacht and Country Club on Sunday and Monday, Russell Sage College is fifth out of eight competing institutions.
With 36 holes in the books, a trio of Gators are in the top 20 out of the 48 participants.
Senior Elijah Waterhouse (Lake Luzerne, NY/Hadley Luzerne) led RSC with a two-day score of 161 (+17) to tie for 12th.
Freshman Luke Finlan (Albany, NY/LaSalle Inst.) and senior Shane Kammerman (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas) tied for 20th with a total of 167.
Rounding out the RSC contingent were: sophomore Ryan Arp (Greenville, NY/Greenville CAD), 27th - 170, senior Devin Gilbert (Kingston, NY/Kingston), 37th - 178, and junior Anthony Rizzo (Latham, NY/Shaker/HVCC), 42nd - 185.
The Tournament will pick back up in April with Saint John Fisher leading with a team score of 604, 25 strokes ahead of second place Nazareth. RSC is fifth with a total of 663.
