Box Score

Loudonville, NY—Sage's women's lacrosse team hosted the Roadrunners of Ramapo College on Saturday afternoon at Siena's Turf Field. The Roadrunners posted a 20-8 victory to improve to 5-7 overall and 2-3 in the Skyline Conference, while the loss puts Sage at 4-9 overall and 3-5 in the league.

Ramapo's rookie Lindsay Hughes (Milford, NJ/Delaware Valley) poured in 11 goals in the action, elevating her team-leading total to 66 goals and 77 points. Joining Hughes in the scoring output was senior Amanda Ferry (Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) with four goals.

Sage's senior attacker Alexa Pajak (Earlton, NY/Academy of the Holy Names) finished with six goals on the afternoon and became the first player in women's lacrosse history for the Gator to eclipse the 100 career point plateau as she now has 103 points.

Pajak, the Gators' top scorer this season, she has 50 goals and 11 assists for 61 points. She has already surpassed her season total from a year ago when she had 37 goals and five assists for 42 points to lead the team. She holds all of Sage's career scoring marks as she has 87 goals, 16 assists and 103 points, all active career bests for the young Gator program. Her accomplishments are even more impressive as she has played in just 24 contests at Sage.

Sage's senior goalie Courtney Reed (Mechanicville, NY/Mechanicville) made six saves in the action, while Ramapo's sophomore Reagan Vier (Mahwah, NJ/Mahwah) tallied eight saves in recording the win.

Sage returns to action on April 17 hosting Farmingdale State College at 7:30 p.m. in a Skyline Conference contest to be held at Union's Frank Bailey Field. Prior to the contest, Sage will honor 2013 seniors, Reed and Pajak in conjunction with Senior Night.
