HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Russell Sage College competed at the Empire 8 Conference Cross Country Championships, hosted by Houghton University on Saturday. 

Junior Charisma Losee (Troy, NY/Lansingburgh) was the Gators' fastest finisher in the Women's 6k, finishing the race in 26:37.6. Junior Alexis Hope Arango (Albany, NY/Albany) finished in 32:31.9, freshman Stephanie Beyer (Lowville, NY/Lowville Academy) completed in 32:34.0, and senior Merideth Diegel (Albany, NY/Colonie) wrapped up in 34:41.5.

In the Men's 8k, junior Chris Pellegrini (Loudonville, NY/Colonie Central) finished first among Gators finishers, completing the race in 31:01.6, while senior Isaac Langer (Hudson, NY/Taconic Hills) finished in 35:28.2 and senior Jacob Haynes (Cambridge, NY/Cambridge Central) ran in 34:37.6

The Gators will run again in two weeks at the NCAA MidEast Regional Championships, hosted by Connecticut College.
