Liam Dowd

At Sage:

• Liam Dowd was a member of the first men’s lacrosse team in 2019.
• As a rookie, he played in 15 games and added 3 ground ball pickups as a member of the defense.
• As a sophomore on the 2020 team, he played in all 7 games helping to anchor the defense. He added 16 ground ball picks along the way.

Academics at Sage:

• He is majoring in business administration at Sage.
• He was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List in the Fall and Spring semesters in 2019 and was also honored as a Deans’ List student.
• Active on campus, he is a Student Ambassador in the Office of Admissions.
• Dowd is active with the Sage SAAC and is president of the Soccer Club at Sage.

High School:

• A graduate of Curtis High School, Dowd earned two varsity letters in lacrosse.
• He led the team to a pair of third place league finishes as well.
• A National Honor Society student, he earned numerous academic awards as well and was an Eagle Scout.

Personal:

He is the son of Kevin Dowd and Monica Cespino-Dowd.
