RSC Men's Golf Team Finishes Second Behind Phair's Fourth Place finish

Cobleskill, NY—Russell Sage College’s men’s golf team opened the new season on Saturday competing at the SUNY-Cobleskill Invitational. On the men’s side, SUNY-Delhi won the team competition after they had a 311 on the day, just ahead of the Gators’ 339. SUNY-Cobleskill picked up third with a 373 for the day.

Cobleskill, NY—Russell Sage College's men's golf team opened the new season on Saturday competing at the SUNY-Cobleskill Invitational. On the men's side, SUNY-Delhi won the team competition after they had a 311 on the day, just ahead of the Gators' 339. SUNY-Cobleskill picked up third with a 373 for the day.  

Senior Stuart Phair (Canberra, Australia/Trinity Christian School) finished in fourth overall after he scored a 77 for the day with her personal best round after he had a 42 on the front-nine and tore up the back nine with a round of 35. Sophomore Austin Carpenter (Peru, NY/Peru) was next after he had an 82 on the day (40-42) and was sixth. Graduate player Blake Pritchard (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy) shot an 86 (45-49) and was seventh.

Senior Aidan O'Neil (Canajoharie, NY/Canajoharie) finished with an 87 (44-43) and picked up eighth and graduate player Ethan Peters (Hudson, NY/Hudson) had a 124 (65-59).
