• A graduate of Franklin Academy, he was a two-year team captain having held the position as a junior and senior. Tapped as the golfer of the year as a senior, he was an All-NAC First Team honoree as a junior and senior.
• Helped his team to a first place tie as a junior in the conference, while leading team to the sectional title as a senior.
• A four-year honoree in the classroom, he earned High Honors every year in high school.
