New York, NY--Two Sage student-athletes were honored for their outstanding performances last week with citations as Skyline Conference Athletes of the Week. Freshman runner Ilenis Quinones (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) was honored for her efforts as the Skyline Conference Cross Country Rookie Runner of the Week. Junior men's soccer goalie and team captain, TJ Zehner (Beacon, NY/Beacon) earned Skyline Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week.

Quinones was the top finisher for Sage at the Bard College Invitational. She posted a time of 18:47 to take seventh place in the 5 K race and help the Gators to a fifth place team finish. She was named Skyline Conference Rookie Runner of the Week for her performance.

Zehner went 1-0-1 in net for the Gators as they opened Skyline play with a 3-0 win over Yeshiva and played Union to a scoreless overtime tie. He had eight saves on the week and did not allow a single goal in 200 minutes of work. Along the way he penned his name to Sage's career saves record as he now has 125.
