New York, NY---Sage's rookie forward Samantha Trimblett (Monroe, NY/Monroe-Woodbury) was honored by the Skyline Conference this week as she was tapped as the league's women's soccer rookie of the week.

She helped the squad to a 2-1 week, while helping the squad remain undefeated in the conference with a pair of league wins. She scored four goal last week, including the game-winning goal as the Gators beat Maritime. She is the team's leading scorer this fall with 15 points on six goals and three assists and is fourth in the league in points per game with a 2.14 per game average.

She and the rest of the Gators will be back in action on October 3, when they host the College of Mt. St. Vincent in a 1 p.m. Skyline Conference match-up at the nearby Plumeri Sports Complex.
