A graduate of North Warren Central High School, Ashley Maresca was a three-sport stand-out in high school. She excelled in cross country, tennis and basketball and was a four-time all-league performer in cross country. A cross country team captain, she led her team to four league championship titles as well as a Section II Championship in 2010 and was part of the 2010 team that qualified for the state championships.

An Honor Roll student, she is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the National Technical Honor Society at Franklin Pierce University, where she competed as a member of the cross country team. A Dean’s List student there, she also earned all-academic honors.

As a first-year runner at Sage she earned Skyline Conference Weekly honors in her first meet and finished in finished in fourth place to lead the Gators to the 2013 Castleton State Invitational Championship. She finished in 22nd overall at the 2013 Skyline Conference Championship as well in 22:42.94.

The daughter of Michael and Rachele Maresca, she is majoring in health science and pre-med at Sage. Her family is heavily involved in antique cars and the antique car show, a passion they all share.  She earned Dean’s List acclaim last year as well as a spot on the 2013 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team and the 2014 Sage Scholar-Athlete Team in the spring semester.
