Adadjo Lowers 60m Dash Program Standard for Second Straight Week

ITHACA, N.Y. – Russell Sage College track and field competed at the Robert J. Kane Invitational on Saturday, held at Cornell University.

Senior David Adadjo (Nassau, NY/Columbia) lowered his program standard in the 60m for the second straight week, running in 7.15 seconds, good for 20th out of 64 entries. Adadjo finished tenth of 39 entries in the 200m dash with a time of 23.16 seconds. 

Junior Chris Pellegrini (Loudonville, NY/Colonie Central) placed eighth in the 500m with a time of 1:13.35.

Junior Alexis Arango (Albany, NY/Albany) ran the 200m in 30.61 seconds, while freshman Sadie DeCrescenzo (Albany, NY/Colonie) completed the race in 31.01 seconds.

Arango also competed in the 500m, placing ninth with a time of 1:31.16. 

The Gators have their final prep before the Empire 8 Conference Championships on Saturday at Utica.
