Mackenzie Riley opener her junior season with a strong showing as she posted an impressive win at first singles over an opponent that was coming off an undefeated singles campaign. She was named the Skyline Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week to open the 2011 season. Her season was cut short as she was forced to the sidelines with an illness.

As a sophomore, she was named the recipient of the Skyline Conference Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2010 after also earning a spot on the 2010 Skyline Conference All-Star First Team. She was named the Skyline Women's Tennis Player of the Week once that season, while also earning two postings on the league's weekly honor roll.

She finished the 2010 season with a 9-1 record in singles play, including a 5-1 record in Skyline Conference action. She added a 5-5 record in doubles play as well in her first Sage campaign. She posted a 4-1 record in Skyline Doubles play with former partner, Kate Saulsbery.

A Dean's List student at Sage, she is a member of the Tri-Beta Honor Society as well as the recipient of the Phi Kappe Phi sophomore award in 2010. A member of Sage's SAAC, she is a biology major at Sage and a two-time Sage Scholar-Athlete honoree. She spent the last semester studying abroad in Australia.

Scholasticaly, Riley excelled in tennis earning six varsity letters in the sport starting with her seventh grade campaign. A team captain in both tennis and track, she was the tennis team MVP in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. She led her tennis to the 2009 Big Ten League Championship and four finishes as the second best team in the league as well.

The daughter of Mary Ellen Riley, Mackenzie is also a talented Irish Step Dancer in her free time and has served as a tennis instructor.
