ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College Women's Soccer had three players: sophomore defender Courtney Bush (Schenectady, NY/Mohonasen), senior forward Marissa Key (Monroe, NY/Monroe-Woodbury), and senior forward Kennedy Jones (Albany, NY/Albany), chosen for the United Soccer Coaches All-Region third-team.
Key and Bush were both first-team All-Empire 8 Conference picks. Bush spearheaded an RSC defense that registered conference-bests in goals-against average and clean sheets across the regular season. She added two goals and an assist and won E8 Defensive Player of the Week on two occasions.
Key provided the Gators (9-5-4/3-2-3 E8) with high-quality offensive and defensive play. She totaled 13 points on four goals and five assists. Key tied for second in the conference with five assists, and ranked sixth with 13 points.
Jones was voted second-team All-E8 for the second-straight year. She closed her season topping the E8 in scoring with 20 points on eight goals and four assists.
The trio helped the Gators reach the Semifinals of the E8 Championship Tournament for the second-straight year.
