Kristen Silk

At Sage:

• A two-sport performer at Sage, she is also a member of the softball team.
• As a rookie in soccer, she made one start in 14 appearances.
• Added 4 points on a goal and 2 assists.
• A member of the 2017 softball team, she helped both teams earn Skyline Conference Tournament appearances in her rookie seasons.
• On the softball field in 2017, she played in 41 games with a .235 batting average.
• She added 24 hits with 10 RBIs and had a .355 on base percentage.
• As a sophomore at Sage, she was the third leading scorer on the pitch in the fall of 2017 with 10 points on 5 goals. She played in every game as well with one start.
• In softball, she started 16 of 21 games played for the Gators in 2018. Was a perfect 4-4 on stolen bases and had a .920 fielding percentage.

Academics at Sage:

• She is majoring in physical therapy at Sage.
• A Dean’s List student, she was named to the Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team in the fall in soccer and in the spring in softball as a rookie.
• She earned acclaim as a member of Sage’s Scholar-Athlete Team in 2017-2018 and was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List as a two-sport performer.
  

High School:

• A three sport athlete at Greenville Central High School, Silk played tennis, softball and basketball.
• A two-year softball captain, Silk was a three-time League All-Star and a Section II All-Star.
• She led her team to a Patroon Conference Championship and a Section II Class C Championship.
• Silk also helped Greenville soccer to a Section II Co-Championship.
• Silk was a four-time scholar-athlete and Principals High Honor Roll. She graduated fifth in her class.

Personal:

• Kristen is the daughter of James and Jennifer Silk, and sister to Sage softball’s Alexa Silk (2014-2018).
