A four sport participant at Sleepy Hollow High School, Jennifer Onwe arrives at Sage with a long list of scholastic accomplishment after participating in soccer, basketball, indoor track and softball.

A team captain in softball, she was an all-league shortstop four straight years. She was a two-time all-section honorable mention pick and a scholar-athlete. She was the starting goalie in soccer and earned back to back all-league selections in both 2011 and 2012. In track, she excelled in the shot put and was both a scholar-athlete and an all-league performer.

A High Honors graduate, she is member of the National Honor Society as well as the Foreign Language and English Honor Societies. She earned the superintendents award for her accomplishments that also include graduating with an advances regents diploma.

She is the daughter of Joseph and Veronica Onwe and is majoring in biology leading to physical therapy at Sage. In her spare time she has published works in both English and Spanish.
