A two-year starter behind the plate, Trish Gaulin returns for her junior season ready to once again help the Gators. She brings a .280 career batting average into the 2013 campaign having started 63 of 66 career games played.

The 2012 recipient of Coaches' Award for her contributions to the team and the program, Gaulin battled back to return to the starting lineup after missing a handful of games mid-season with an injury. By season’s end, she had a personal-best eight doubles and posted a .287 batting average with 19 RBI's. She started 36 of 39 games played.  She connected for two homeruns and finished with a .426 slugging percentage.  Her eight doubles ranks No. 9 in Sage’s single-season record book.

As a rookie, she started 27 games and produced a .269 batting average with three doubles and a homerun with just one error in 176 total chances.

Gaulin excelled in both soccer and softball at South Glens Falls High, where she helped the softball team to the semifinals of the state tournament. A former soccer team captain, she was named to the Spanish Honor Society and also earned the Coaches’ Award in high school.

An early childhood education major at Sage, she is also active with Sage’s SAAC. She is the daughter of Larry and Julia Gaulin.
