A two-year letterwinner with the Gators, Hillary Faas is coming off an impressive sophomore season that saw her earn Skyline Conference All-Star Second Team honors. The talented infielder had a sensational 2012 season that saw her rank nationally in Division III in doubles per game (.326) after also connecting for a school-record 15 doubles on the season. She also ranked nationally with her four sacrifice flies on the season and finished the season also ranked in RBI's per game with a 0.89 per game average. She drove in 41 RBI's and had a .373 batting average in 46 games started at short. She had a number of top performances in the Gator single-season record book. She was No. 2 in at-bats (158), No. 2 in hits (59), No. 1 in doubles, No. 5 in homeruns (5), No. 3 runs scored (38), and No. 2 in RBIs (41).

As a rookie, she was named Sage’s Rookie of the Year after collecting a pair of Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week selections. She batted .358 in 27 games played and started in 2011, while adding 16 RBIs and 10 extra-base hits.  Her three homeruns as a rookie in 2011 stands No. 11 in the Gator single-season record book.

She returns for her junior season ready to continue her assault of the Gator career record book as well. She has started 73 games and stands No. 13 in career at-bats (239), No. 10 in hits (88), No. 2 in doubles (21), No. 5 in homeruns (8), No. 12 in runs scored 57), and No. 8 in RBIs (57).   

A National Honor Society student at Columbia High School, she earned three letters in softball. A two-time honorable mention all-star in softball, she helped her team to the 2009 state championship semifinals.

She is the daughter of Dan and Karrie Faas and is majoring in health sciences leading to physical therapy at Sage.
