After starting 27 games for the Gators in the outfield in 2011, Tiffany Bezio returned last season for her senior season and produced some big numbers at the plate. Batting .319 with 19 RBI’s in 2012, she started 46 games in the outfield and had a .594 slugging percentage and a .373 on-base percentage. She connected for six doubles and a team-leading five triples. She finished the season ranked nationally with her five triples and her triples game average.

As a junior, she batted .291 with three triples and drew 14 walks. She scored 17 runs as well for the team and brings a .268 career batting average into the 2013 season. She has started 73 games for the Gators and now has nine doubles, five triples and one homerun. She ranks No. 11 on the Gator career triple list, while her nine doubles stands tied for No. 15.

Bezio transferred to Sage after spending two years at SUNY-Adirondack. A graduate of Whitehall High School, she earned 13 varsity letters over the course of her career. She excelled in softball, basketball and soccer.  As a junior she earned first team All-Adirondack League in 2007 after earning a spot in the Honorable Mention Adirondack League as a sophomore in 2006. She was named the recipient of the Coaches’ Offensive Award as a junior. She capped her career with a selection to the First Team Adirondack League as well as earning a spot on the Section 2 All-Star Team. She was a Post Star First All-Star as a senior in softball.

On the hardwood, she was a team MVP as a senior after also earning Adirondack East All-Star Team honors. Her accomplishments also were numerous on the soccer field as she was named to the Adirondack League All-Star First Team and garnered Goalie of the Year honors for the Adirondack League in 2007.

 A National Honor Society student in high school, she was named to the 2012 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team as well as Sage’s Scholar-Athlete Team. A health education major at Sage, she is now enrolled in Sage’s graduate program. She is the daughter of Mickey and Dawn Bezio.
