Guyton is a two-year captain for the men’s volleyball program (2016, 2017).
After two seasons, Guyton is ranked in the career record books in aces (1st, 118), aces/set (2nd, 0.59), attack percentage (2nd, .262), solo blocks (4th, 29), kills (4th, 516), points (4th, 693.5), points/set (5th, 3.48), kills/set (6th, 2.59), blocks (6th, 90) and block assists (7th, 61).
He was a member of the 2016 team that made it to the Skyline Championship semi-finals.
The opposite hitter was named to the 2016 Skyline First Team.
He set the Sage career record for aces in a 3-2 win over NJCU. Guyton ended the season with 118 career aces and counting.
Guyton played in 111 sets over 35 matches. The sophomore recorded 3.27 kills/set, 0.17 assists/set, 0.69 aces/set, 4.22 points/set, 1.08 digs/set and 0.37 blocks/set while totaling 363 kills, .292 hitting percentage, 19 assists, 77 aces, 468.0 points, 120 digs, and 41 blocks. The opposite hitter was first on the team in kills, kills/set, aces, aces/set, solo blocks (15), points and points/set and third in blocks and blocks/set.
He added a double-doubles in a 3-2 loss to Mount Ida (16 kills, 11 digs).
Guyton’s strongest scoring performance his sophomore campaign came against Daniel Webster in a 3-2 loss. He scored a career-best 32.0 points on 26 kills, five aces and two blocks with six digs. Guyton knotted a season-high seven aces twice against Lehman (3-0 W) and Mount Ida (3-0 W). His best defensive effort was against Elms in a 3-2 loss (nine digs, three blocks) while he had a season-high five blocks in a 3-0 win over Mount Saint Vincent.
Last season he put his name in the single-season Sage record book in aces (2nd, 77), aces/set (2nd, 0.69), points (2nd, 468.0), kills (3rd, 363), points/set (4th, 4.22), kills/set (7th, 3.27) and solo blocks (10th, 15).
Guyton put his name in the Sage single-match record book in kills/five-set kills (1st, 26 vs Daniel Webster), points/five-set points (1st, 32.0 vs Daniel Webster), four-set points (1st, 25.0 at Bard), four-set kills (2nd, 22 at Bard), five-set aces (2nd, five at Elms & vs Daniel Webster), aces/three-set aces (3rd, seven vs Lehman & Mount Ida) and four-set aces (3rd, five vs Elms).
He was named both the Skyline Rookie of the Week and the ECAC Corvais Division III South Rookie of the Week in 2015.
Guyton played in 88 sets over 27 matches. The rookie recorded 1.74 kills/set, 0.26 assists/set, 0.47 aces/set, 2.56 points/set, 1.58 digs/set and 0.56 blocks/set while totaling 153 kills, .204 hitting percentage, 23 assists, 41 aces. 225.5 points, 139 digs, and 49 blocks. He was first on the team in aces, aces/set, block assists (35) and blocks, second in kills, kills/set, solo blocks (14), points and points/set, and third in digs and digs/set.
He collected a double-doubles in a 3-1 win over Yeshiva (19 kills, 10 digs).
Guyton’s strongest scoring performance his freshman year was in a 3-1 win over Yeshiva. The rookie scored a season-best 22.5 points on 19 kills, three aces and one block with 10 digs. He knotted a season-high four aces in a 3-0 win over Brooklyn. His best defensive effort was against Keuka in a 3-2 loss (12 digs, six blocks).
As a rookie, he ranked in the single-season record book in aces (2nd, 41) and aces/set (2nd, 0.47).
Guyton put his name in the Sage single-match record book in attack percentage (2nd, .630 at Yeshiva), four-set kills (6th, 19 at Yeshiva), solo blocks (6th, six at Keuka) and four-set points (8th, 22.5 at Yeshiva).

A graduate of Lockport High School, Guyton was a two-sport athlete in volleyball and basketball.
He led his volleyball team to a first place finish in the league in Section 6, while also assisting the basketball team to achieve the same feat.
