Cortney Conley

At Sage:

  • Cortney Conley arrived at Sage in 2018 and was a member of the school's first field hockey team.
  • She was named to the 2018 Empire 8 Honorable Mention All-Star Team.
  • One of only two freshmen and three players overall to start in all 17 games.
  • Cortney scored four goals, tied for second on the team, and also added an assist for nine points (third for the Gators).
  • She led all Sage players with 19 shots and 16 shots on goal, and added two defensive saves.
  • She scored the eventual game-winning goal at Wells.
  • Conley backed up her first season at Sage by garnering the Gator of the Year award. She started all 19 games for the Gators and finished the season with 10 points on two goals with six assists.
  • At season’s end, Conley earned a selection to the 2019 Empire 8 Honorable Mention Team after helping Sage to an 8-11 finish with the program’s first conference win as well.
  • She was also tapped for the NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad for her prowess in the classroom.
  • Conley already stands among the program’s career scoring leaders in just seasons of play as she ranks third in assists with 7, while ranking fourth in assists per game with a 0.19 average. She is fifth in points (19), while ranking sixth in points per game (0.53). She has six career goals (7th), while averaging 0.19 goals per game (0.17) and is tied for first in career games played (36) and started (35).

  • She is majoring in childhood education and English at Sage.

  • After racking up a perfect attendance as a student at Stissing Mountain High School, Conley brings with her additional acclaim having also excelled in the classroom as an honors student.
