Melissa (Missy) Schneiderman

At Sage:              

• As a junior, Missy Schneiderman, the Gator’s libero Skyline All-Star First Team honors for her play on the 2016 season.
• Over the course of the 2016 campaign, she garnered her 1,000th career dig, while adding a team-best 436 digs on the year. She added 3.49 digs per set, while playing in 125 sets with 41 aces and 47.0 points. She has now amassed 1,041 career digs, which ranks No. 14 in the program's career record book. She also now boasts 105 career aces, which is 18th best. Schneiderman was also among the current NCAA Division III leaders as she is ranked No. 192 in total digs. She was nationally ranked (No. 208) with her 436 total digs.
• In 2016, she played in 125 sets in 35 matches and had a .910 serving percentage in 2016.
• As a sophomore, this defensive specialist tallied 329 digs in 112 sets played.
• Added 39 aces for the Gators and had 48 points in the 2015 campaign.
• As a rookie, she performed in 102 sets in 31 matches. She added 276 digs with 25 aces. She was ranked ninth in the league in 2014 with her 2.71 digs per set average.
• Schneiderman has now played in 99 career matches at Sage entering her final season.
• She has worked in 339 sets with 1,041 career digs, 105 aces with a 3.07 career digs per set average. She is currently 14^th in career digs as the Gators open 2017, while standing 18^th in career aces.

Academics at Sage:

• She is majoring in health sciences and psychology at Sage.
• She is a Sage Scholar-Athlete honoree and has also earned acclaim on the Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team three times during her time at Sage.
• She is a Dean’s List student.

High School:

• A graduate of Minisink High School, she was a two-sport star in volleyball and lacrosse.
• Led the 2013 volleyball team as a captain and earned team MVP awards for her outstanding efforts on defense. In lacrosse, she was also a team captain and garnered all-star team honors for Section IX. She helped the squad to the Section IX Class B title as well.
