At Sage:

  • As a rookie in 2013, she played in all 36 matches and worked in 119 sets. She added 88 kills with 271 digs. She led the 2013 rookies in digs as she averaged 2.28 per set and had a .896 reception percentage on the season.
  • She backed up her rookie campaign with a stellar effort in 2014 as the Gators captured the Skyline Conference Championship and an NCAA berth. She played in 94 sets and connected for 33 aces with 126 digs and added 49 points on the year.
  • As a junior, connected for 151 kills in 104 sets played.
  • Added 13 aces with 128 digs and 166.5 points as a member of the 2015 team.
  • Has played in 316 sets and 101 matches entering senior season with 255 career kills, 70 aces, and 525 digs.
 

Academics at Sage:

  • Majoring in applied biology at Sage and is a Sage Scholar.
  • Dean’s List student, who has also earned Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete acclaim, three times as well as selections to Sage’s Scholar-Athlete Team in 2014, 2015, and the spring of 2016.
 

High School:

  • A graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School, Sara Campolieta was a stellar performer in both volleyball and soccer in high school. She was a four-time scholar-athlete honoree, who earned honorable mention honors as a junior on volleyball and first team all-league honors as a senior.  As a sophomore, he team was the sectional runners-up, while picking up a regional runner-up crown as a junior. As a senior, her team finished as the runner-up in the sectional finals.
  • In soccer, she was part of a team that advanced to the sectional semifinals as a sophomore. An excellent student, she graduated with high honors and is a member of the National Honor Society having also earned her Advanced Regents Diploma with honors.
 

Personal:

  • She is the daughter of Paul and Rhonda Campolieta, a former varsity swimmer at Oswego State. Her sister also played collegiate volleyball at Elmira College.
