Samantha Dibbell

At Sage:

 2017 Team Captain

• As a newcomer in tennis in 2015, she posted a 3-9 singles performance, including a 2-3 record at No. 5 in the ladder.
• Went 3-5 in 2015 in doubles, including a 3-2 mark with Lindsey Tolman at No. 3 doubles.
• Last season, she saw time in the lineup at doubles and produced a 1-0 record with the Gators at third doubles.
• A two-sport student-athlete at Sage, she was a member of the 2016 Gator softball team which finished the year as the Skyline Conference Runner-up. Played in 14 games with 3 starts and helped the team with her speed and great defensive skills and posted a .257 batting average.

Academics at Sage:

• Named to 2015 ITA Scholar-Athlete Team as well as the Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team in 2015.
• Added Sage Scholar-Athlete Team honors in 2015-2016 as well as a spot on the 2016-2017 Sage Scholar-Athlete Team and a repeat selection to the 2017 ITA Scholar-Athlete Team.
• An applied biology and physical therapy major at Sage, she earned Dean’s High Honors last year as well as a spot on the Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team in tennis twice. She is active on campus and is a member of the Bio-Club and serves as a student mentor.

High School:

• Dibbell was a three-sport stand-out performer at Hunter-Tannersville Central High School. An all-star performer and MVP in softball, she served as team captain in both basketball and soccer and earned numerous awards throughout her scholastic career.

Personal:

• She is the daughter of Joe and Melissa Dibbell.
