Alex Faas

At Sage:

• As a newcomer in the lineup in 2014, Faas tallied a 3-11 mark in singles with a 1-8 record playing at the No. 5 spot in the lineup. In doubles, she combined for a 5-9 record playing mostly at No. 3 doubles.
• Last season, she played at No. 3 and 4 singles and was 2-8 on the campaign. She added a 3-8 record in doubles having played at both No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Was 3-3 at No. 2 doubles in 2015.

Academics at Sage:

• Alex is a Dean’s List student at Sage. 
• She is majoring in health sciences and nursing with plans of becoming a labor and delivery nurse.
• Dean’s List student, named to Sage and Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team (2015).

High School:

• A former varsity tennis and track star at Columbia High School, Alexandra “Alex” Faas earned the Coaches’ Award in Tennis.  She is the cousin of 2013-2014 Sage Female Athlete of the Year, Hillary Faas (softball).

Personal:

• She is the daughter of Mike and Melissa Faas.
