Garrett Cobb (Clifton Park, NY) closed his eighth season as the Russell Sage College Head Women's Soccer coach in 2023. He's guided the Gators to the 2020-21 Empire 8 Conference Championship Tournament title, a program first, and wrapped the season ranked 25th in Division III in the final United Soccer Coaches Poll.

RSC has now made four appearances in the E8 Tournament during his tenure, reaching the Semifinals in each of its runs.

Cobb was promoted into an Assistant Director of Athletics position in March 2024. He will work to expand the Department's marketing and fundraising efforts in the role, while continuing to serve as the point person for Gator Day of Giving and the Gator Golf Classic.

Prior to taking the head coaching reigns in 2016, Cobb, who has coached multiple All-Conference Gators, served three seasons as an assistant men’s soccer coach for the men's program.Cobb helped the Gators to an NCAA Tournament appearance, the 2015 Skyline Conference Championship Tournament title and two regular season Skyline Championships (2013 and 2015)

Cobb arrived at RSC after coaching locally for over a decade in the Capital District. The former Head Boys' Soccer Coach at Christian Brothers Academy currently coaches with Albany Rush and is the director of coaching for the girls program.  He is a NYS certified coach and has obtained both a Premier Diploma from United Soccer Coaches (formally National Soccer Coaches Association of America) and a B License from the United States Soccer Federation. 

A graduate from Shenendehowa High School, he also excelled as a member of the Capital United club soccer team.  He played collegiate soccer for East Carolina University.
