Joleen Marfone

At Sage:

• Started one of 19 games played as a rookie in 2015.
• Added 7 goals with 2 assists as a rookie and helped Sage to a program-best 14-4-1 record, while also garnering the program’s first Skyline Conference regular-season title after an 8-1 league showing.
• Played in 20 games in 2016, adding 22 points on 6 goals with a team-best 10 assists.
• Finished her season nationally ranked 48^th nationally with her 0.50 assists per game average, while she also ranked 43^rd nationally with her 10 assists in 2016.
• As a junior, Marfone played in all 16 games and had 6 points on 2 goals and 2 assists. She added one game-winning goal as well as the Gators beat MCLA.
• She has now played in 55 games at Sage with 15 career goals and 14 assists.
• Marfone will make a run at several Sage career marks in her final season. She opens 2018 ranked in the Top 15 in career goals, while standing tied for seventh in career assists. She is also poised to move into the top position in career games played as well.

Academics at Sage:

• Majoring in health science at Sage.
• Earned a spot on the Dean’s List in the spring of 2018.

High School:

• Marfone had a successful scholastic career at Remsen High School where she was a stand-out performer in soccer, softball, volleyball and track and field.  Marfone was recognized as a Section III All-Star, and received first team all-conference honors twice. She was a Section III Scholar-Athlete, and earned Center State Conference Scholar-Athlete acclaim for six year.
• As a senior, she was a team captain and helped her team win three league championships during her career, while earning too many awards to mention in not just soccer, but also in track, softball and volleyball.
