A newcomer to Sage, Taylor Lynch transferred from Cazenovia College and made an immediate impact in the Gator lineup in 2014. A starter in nine games, she tallied 21 points on 10 goals with an assist and had three game-winning goals. Playing in all 20 matches, she was part of the 2014 lineup that helped Sage to semifinalist appearances in the Skyline and ECAC Metro Tournaments. She earned Skyline Conference Player of the Week honors following Sage’s pair of impressive wins over both Sarah Lawrence and Maritime College in league match-ups.
She is a former scholastic performer at Saugerties High School, where she excelled in soccer, basketball, and softball. She helped the soccer team to three sectional tournament appearances (2010-2012), while earning a spot as a senior in the 2012 MHAL Tournament. A two-time team captain as well, she was voted the team MVP as a senior. She was also recognized for her outstanding play as a senior in Section 9.
A Dean’s List student, she is majoring in nursing at Sage and is the daughter of James and Lori Lynch.
