Marina Azab

At Sage:

• Marina Azab arrived at Sage in 2017-2018 and played in 10 matches in goal with a 14.28 goals against average.
• She added a team-best 50 saves and was 3-4 in the net. Azab had a .435 saves percentage as well for the Gators.
• As a sophomore with the Gators in 2019, she started 11 of 15 games in net. She added 103 saves with a 1-10 record in goal. She picked up a .375 saves percentage along the way.
• As a member of the 2020 team she started one game in net and played in all three matches.
• She led the team with her 16.67 goals against average, while recording 14 saves and a .424 saves percentage.
• Overall in her time at Sage, she has now played 28 games in goal.
• Azab has 167 career saves, which ranks third amongst the program’s goalies. She is also tied for the No. 2 spot with her 4 career wins as she is 4-15 in net.
• She is sixth with her .395 career saves percentage, while standing fourth with 5.96 saves per game.

Academics at Sage:

• She is majoring in applied biology, pre-med at Sage.

High School:

• A graduate of Niskayuna High School, Azab was a member of the lacrosse team and earned acclaim as a Scholar-Athlete in 2016.

She is the daughter of Ayman and Aml Azab.
