Brittany Gage

2019 Team Captain

At Sage:

• She is a two-sport student-athlete at Sage having played for the women’s soccer team as well as Sage’s lacrosse team.
• In her first season on the soccer team, she helped the 2016 Sage women’s soccer team. She was a starter in 6 of 13 games played and helped the team advance to the Skyline Conference Tournament semifinals after a 12-8 season.
• Helped to anchor a defensive unit that combined for 9 shutouts in 2016, while racking up an impressive 1.32 in 20 games.
• In 2017, she started 4 of 16 games played for the soccer team.
• In women’s lacrosse, she was a 12 game starter for the 2017 team. She played in 15 games with 16 points. She collected nine goals with seven assists on the campaign, while adding 25 caused turnovers to go with her 30 draw controls and 27 ground ball pickups. She finished the year ranked 187^th nationally with her 1.67 per game caused turnover average.
• Honored as the 2018 Sage Women’s Lacrosse Gator of the Year, she added 13 points.
• She was also a team-leader with her 35 draw controls in 2018, having also collected 33 ground balls with 10 caused turnovers.
• She opens 2019 ranked 7^th in career assists with 10, while standing 10^th in ground balls with 60. She is also third on the Gator career list with 65 draws and 6^th with 37 career caused turnovers.

Academics at Sage:

• A health sciences major at Sage, Gage is a Dean’s List student, having also earned honors on the Empire 8 Presidents’ List and as a member of the Sage Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.

High School:

• A graduate of Pine Bush High School, Gage excelled in soccer, lacrosse, and track. She was voted team MVP of the soccer team and served as a captain in lacrosse. She helped her team to the sections every season, while earning her Advanced Regents Diploma and Scholar-Athlete Awards and High Honor Roll stats.

Personal:

• She is the daughter of Bradley and Kimberly Gage. Her sister Kelsey plays softball and soccer for SUNY-Plattsburgh.
