A stellar scholastic performer in four sports, Martine Ianniello excelled in cross country, swimming, field hockey, and lacrosse in high school at Havre de Grace High School (MD). A team captain and a scholar-athlete honoree, she was a Maryland Scholar and an honor roll student.
She parlayed her scholastic career into a strong start last year as she made five starts in nine games before suffering an injury. She finished the year among the scoring leader board in spite of the injury as she had seven points on six goals and an assist. Ianniello also finished the season having a .609 shots on goal percentage as she converted six of 14 shots for scores.
An academic exploration major at Sage, she is the daughter of Peter and Mary Ianniello. Her father, Peter was a Division I wrestler at Boston University.
