Emily Agate

At Sage:

• Emily Agate had a strong start to her softball career at Sage. As a rookie in 2018, she started 19 of 29 games played. She added 19 hits and drove in 13 runs in 61 at-bats. She had 4 doubles and a .426 slugging percentage in 2018, while also owning a .955 fielding percentage.
• She backed up her rookie season batting .305 in 2019 with 25 hits and 17 RBIs in 2019. She also had six doubles with a homerun and had a .415 slugging percentage in 32 appearances with 28 starts. She added a .922 fielding percentage playing at third base and capped the year with a .380 on-base percentage.
• As a junior on the 2020 team, she started 11 of 12 games played and batted .382. She drove in 8 runs with 13 hits, including one home run. Agate also had a .471 slugging percentage on the season with a .405 on-base percentage.
• To date, she has started 58 of 64 games at Sage and owns a .322 career batting average with 57 hits. She has 10 career doubles and three homeruns, while also driving in 38 runs and is also 3-3 on career stolen bases.

Academics at Sage:

• She is majoring in health sciences to occupation therapy at Sage.

High School:

• A graduate of H. Frank Carey High School Agate excelled in softball and was an honor roll student-athlete.
