Acosta and Huneau's Combined 34 Points Not Enough to Down Nazareth

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Russell Sage College had six players with at least four points in Saturday afternoon's 83-54 Empire 8 Conference loss at Nazareth.

Sophomore guard Layla Acosta (Haines City, FL/Haines City) had 17 points on 8-of-18 shooting, and added four rebounds and a steal to her statline.

Junior guard Olivia Huneau (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) scored 17 points, four of those coming from the charity stripe, and reeled in four rebounds on the afternoon.

The Golden Flyers (17-2/9-1 E8), now 10-2 at home, were led by sophomore forward Molly Benetti's 17 points, four rebounds, three steals, and four blocks.

Guard Olivia Dobrovosky tossed in 15 points.  The grad student, now with 15 or more points in each of the last four games, tallied three rebounds and two steals in the victory.

The Gators (4-15/2-8 E8) return to the court on Friday vs. Keuka. The E8 action is slated to begin at 5:30 pm.
