PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Russell Sage College had four players score at least six points in this evening's 67-38 Empire 8 Conference loss at Saint John Fisher, now winners of 13-straight and sitting atop the league standings.

Sophomore guard Layla Acosta (Haines City, FL/Haines City) topped the quartet with 12 points, to go along with six rebounds, while junior guard Malena Gereau (Schroon Lake, NY/Schroon Lake Central) added nine points on 3-of-6 shooting

Junior guard Olivia Huneau (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes) and sophomore forward Allison Louque (Westminster, MD/Winters Mills) scored six points each, while freshman forward Kallie Hopkins (Millsboro, DE/Poly Tech) contributed team-highs of seven boards and three assists.

Only up 13-8 after the opening quarter, Saint John Fisher (16-2/9-0 E8), gunning for its third-consecutive E8 Tournament title, broke open the contest by outscoring the Gators 41-17 during the second and third periods.

The Cardinals made history in the home win with junior guard Sidney Tomasso and senior guard Claire Kruszka both reaching the 1,000 career points milestone. Kruszka led all participants with 17 points, while Tomasso netted 14 points.

Looking ahead, RSC (4-14/2-7 E8) continues its Rochester weekend back-to-back by facing Nazareth on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
