Albany, NY—The Sage Colleges' men's tennis team hosted Nazareth College on Sunday afternoon in an Empire 8 match. Nazareth College collected the 8-1 win to improve to 2-9 overall and 1-1 in the Empire 8. The loss puts Sage at 1-5 overall and 0-3 in the league.
The first doubles pair of senior Henry Golden (Troy, NY/Troy) and junior Tyler Schnaible (Ballston Lake, NY/Shenendehowa) picked up 8-1 win beating Nazareth's top double tandem of rookies Dominic Vito (Gansevoort, NY/Schuylerville) and William Britton (Schenectady, NY/Schlamont).
Sage returns to action on April 9 travelling to Utica College for an Empire 8 match with the Pioneers at 3:30 p.m.
