Maher racks up 5 points in Sage's 6-0 win over CMSV

Yonkers, NY---The Sage Colleges' women's soccer team traveled to the College of Mt. St. Vincent for a Skyline Conference match held at Tibbetts Brook Park. The Gators tallied a 6-0 win to improve to 4-6 overall and 4-1 in the conference.

Sage jumped out to an early lead as rookie Nicole Maher (Glen Cover, NY/Saint Dominic) put the Gators up 1-0 with her goal at 32:51. By night's end, the reigning Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week, racked up a team-leading five points on two goals and an assist.  She continues to lead the team in scoring with her 9 goals and 24 points.

Freshman midfielder Kelsey Woron (Baltimore, MD/Chesapeake) also tallied a pair of goals and is now the team's second leading scorer with her 5 goal and 10 points.

Sage's sophomore keeper Teagan Waddingham (Coeymans Hollow, NY/Ravena Coeymans-Selkirk) finished the night with five saves in the action en route to her fourth shutout of the season.

Sage returns to action on October 13 travelling to St. Joseph's College for a 1 p.m. Skyline Conference match.
